The VFW Post 8555 will hold a dinner and dance Saturday, Sept. 8, at 4:30 p.m. in the VFW Hall at 715 Houston St. in Poth.

Enjoy a family-style barbecue supper with all the trimmings for two, plus beverages from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Then, grab your dancing partner and dance to some good ol’ country western music starting at 8 p.m.

Interested patrons are encouraged to act fast as there will only be 250 tickets sold for a $75 donation. Ticket stubs must be presented at the door. Gift certificates totaling $5,150 will be awarded throughout the evening.

For more information, call James Carr at 210-392-6382.
