1929-2012

Charles C. Baxley passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at the age of 83 years. He was born Feb. 26, 1929.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Eli and Willa Maude (Watson) Baxley; a daughter, Sherry Poole; and two brothers.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy Baxley; daughters Annette Francis and husband Arnie and Betty Fielden and husband Kurt; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation was held Friday, Aug. 10, from 10-11 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale, Texas.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Dennis Jarzombek officiating.

Interment followed in the Mission Burial Parks South in San Antonio.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
