A retirement reception will be held for county agent Dennis Hale, Texas AgriLife Extension Service for Wilson County, Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The reception will be held in the AgriLife Extension Office, located at 1420 Third St. in Floresville, in the basement of the Wilson County Courthouse.

Hale has been employed by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service for the last 32 years, and has served Wilson County for the last 3-1/2 years, since the retirement of Charlie Pfluger.
