FORT WORTH -- The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and CA Cattle Co. in Mason are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of suspects involved in the theft of cattle from the CA Cattle Co. Ranch, the WW Cattle Co. Ranch, and the Lex Lehmberg Ranch in Mason County.

According to an Aug. 17 Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association press release, the thefts date back from December 2011 up to March 2012. Each theft occurred within a 10-mile area in Mason and Kimble counties. In addition to these thefts, authorities also believe the suspects are responsible for penning cattle for possible theft on three other ranches.

Any individual with information regarding these crimes should contact Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association’s Operation Cow Thief hotline at 888-830-2333, Special Ranger Max Hartmann at 830-997-7585, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office at 325-347-5252, or the Kimble County Sheriff’s Office at 325-446-2766.
