Bobby and Debbie Matheaus of Poth, Texas, are very proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Renee, to Shane Andrew Neely of Floresville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Leona Gawlik of Poth and the late Paul Gawlik, and Robert and Marietta Matheaus of Poth.

The prospective groom is the grandson of John and Jan Eddins of Floresville.

Amanda is a graduate of Del Mar College in Corpus Christi and is a physical therapy assistant.

Shane is employed with All Tech out of Corpus Christi.

The couple are planning an October wedding and will reside in Ingleside.
