Bennie and Debbie Martinez of Stockdale, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Rae, to Sterling Ray Lambeck, the son of Vernon and JoDea Lambeck of Stockdale.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Salvador and Margie Urrabazo of Stockdale, and the late Santos and Manuela Martinez, formerly of Stockdale.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Marvin and Laura Baumann, and Arnold and Helen Lambeck, all of Stockdale.

Jessica is a 2004 graduate of Stockdale High School and a 2010 graduate of Texas State University’s graduate school in San Marcos. She is a speech and language pathologist for the Nixon-Smiley Consolidated Independent School District.

Sterling is a 2003 graduate of Stockdale High School, and is a foreman at VLS Industries.

The couple plan to wed Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, in the Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colo., with Dan Martinez officiating.
