Tim David Edwards Jr. passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the age of 21 years. Tim was born on Sept. 29, 1990, to Sharon (Jank) and Tim David Edwards Sr.

Tim was a very outgoing, fun- loving, and adventurous person. He was loved by so many and had the most amazing friends. But most of all, Tim was a devoted father to his beautiful 3-year-old little girl, Averie Lynn Edwards, whom he loved with all his heart. She was his world. We all know he is up there watching over her now. Tim was also able to be a donor, which he wanted very deeply. He was able to help others in need and will now live on through somebody else, said his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mitchell and Lorraine Edwards; and grandfather David Jank.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Averie Edwards; mother Sharon (Jank) Edwards; father Tim David Edwards Sr.; sister Cassandra Mix and husband Tom; a soon-to-be niece or nephew; grandparents Robert and Doris Wengler; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many close friends.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.

A service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel.

Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Yoakum.

Pallbearers will be Casey Ross, Brady Ross, Tom Mix, Benjamin “Ace” Mock, Mike Krueger, John Alvarado, Cody Ray, and Dustin Wieters.
