Kermit “Caleb” Ray Mikolajczyk, 33, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, in Tarrant County, Texas. He drowned unexpectedly in a tributary of the Trinity River.

He was a man of strong and fighting faith in Christ. Kermit had a brave and adventurous soul, was a man of integrity and authenticity, and was one hell of a musician. He was a talented and industrious construction artist and the proud owner of Rockin’ K Construction company. He was an accomplished, professional bareback rider, and won many rodeos and various association finals. His charismatic and charming spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He will not be forgotten, his family said.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kermit Wosnig.

Kermit is survived by his father, Clarence Ray Mikolajczyk; his mother, Diana Wosnig; brother Dallas Ray Mikolajczyk; sisters Lisa Dawn Tate and Sarah Joy Mikolajczyk; and grandparents Alex and Clara Mikolajczyk and Dorothy Wosnig.

His life and homecoming were celebrated Saturday, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m. in the St. John Lutheran Church in Marion, followed by burial in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Marion.

Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund account established at Marion State Bank.
