Jennifer Kim Patterson and Bryan James Moczygemba were united in holy matrimony on Monday, July 23, 2012, under an outdoor gazebo at the Paradisus Palma Real Resort in the Dominican Republic. Approximately 40 family members and friends shared in the celebration.

Jennifer is the daughter of Kim Choi of Mount Morris Village, N.Y., and Al Patterson of Boyds, Md.

The bride graduated from Nunda High School in New York. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Saint Bonaventure in New York and a master’s degree in education from Nazareth College in New York. She is an elementary school teacher with Del Valle Independent School District in Del Valle, Texas.

Bryan is the son of Lester and MaryJane Moczygemba of Floresville, and the grandson of the late Emil and Wendy Baumann, formerly of Floresville, and the late Willie and Mary Moczygemba, formerly of Falls City.

The groom graduated from Floresville High School in 1995. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and is currently an investigator with the Criminal Investigations Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety. He also attends Texas State University and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Sciences after the spring of 2013.
