In September, the Seguin Heritage Museum will begin to display a tribute to the fire department and the firemen who work every day to keep Seguinites safe. Titled “Always Ready, Depend on Us”: The History of the Seguin Fire Department, the exhibit will be open to the public each Monday through Friday, Sept. 3 to Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. The museum is located at 114 N. River in Seguin.

Establishing its roots in 1877, the fire department has been able to preserve many objects that have been important to the founding of the department. With items such as vintage photos, equipment, and memorabilia on loan from the Seguin Fire Department, the museum has been able to produce an exciting look to display the proud heritage of the department.
