Cruise into Traders Village for the first annual VW Car Show and Swap Meet, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1-2, sponsored by the Oil Dippers VW Car Club. The market is located at 9333 S.W. Loop 410 near Old Pearsall Road in San Antonio.

From show cars to vintage junkers, the two-day show will feature 150-plus types of Volkswagens. Car dealers will also be on hand for a Swap Meet with all makes and model car parts, accessories, and memorabilia for sale. Take your appetite for a Twinkie-eating contest for the kids and a tamale-eating contest for the adults. Also enjoy face painting, family rides, live music, and barbecue plates for sale.

Admission is free and parking is only $2.
