Falls City Church picnic Sept. 2

The 104th annual Falls City Parish Picnic will be held Sunday, Sept. 2, at 10:30 a.m. in the Falls City Community Hall at 306 S. Front St. in Falls City.

Enjoy a variety of activities such as washer and horseshoe tournaments at 4 p.m., bingo at 11 a.m., kids activities, a bake sale, a live auction at 2 p.m., and more.

Plates of barbecued beef, sausage, and fried chicken with all the trimmings will be served for $8 per plate. Patrons can dine in or take plates to-go from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again at 4 p.m.

Kick up your heels with a $15 dance, with live entertainment provided by the “Southern Strangers” from 9-10 p.m., and Mark McKinney from 10:30 p.m. to midnight.

All proceeds will benefit the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
