The La Vernia Independent School District (ISD) Newcomers Fair held Aug. 9 had record-high attendance. The fair, set up in the auditorium foyer, had tables manned by employees from each campus, volunteers from each PTO group, and sponsors from local clubs and organizations. Attendees received information from the athletics department, each La Vernia ISD campus, PTOs, Child Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Special Education and Special Programs, and the transportation department.  . . .
