When it comes to high school tennis, the fall season is a time for “team tennis,” as wins and losses are measured by a team’s overall success, rather than by an individual performance. For the teams from East Central, Floresville, and La Vernia, it requires a different mindset than does the spring season, but all ultimately leads to making players better in the end.  . . .
