Compared to last week: Alfalfa traded steady to firm, with ground Alfafla $5 higher. Coastal and wheat hay remained steady. Trade activity was light to moderate on moderate demand. A break from the heat this week with some cooler temperatures and some much needed rain. Most producers still hoping for more rain to get a third cutting. The Southeastern part of the state has had a good production of Coastal Bermuda so far this season. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted. . . .
