FAIRVIEW -- As of 5:30 p.m., deputies from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office remain at the scene of a reported home invasion on C.R. 111 near F.M. 2505, just east of the Atascosa County line.

Wilson County Sheriff Joe D. Tackitt Jr. said via telephone that the deputies reported to the scene after a man reported that someone broke into a home and started shooting at him. At this time, Tackitt said, there is no evidence to justify that this indeed occurred.
