Stella Kadura, born Aug. 17, 1923, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Kadura.

Stella is survived by her loving daughter, Susan Lyssy and husband Michael; grandson Bryan and wife Amanda; great-grandson Jacob; brothers and sisters, Emil Kruciak and wife Rose, Tommy Kruciak, and Leatrice Gottardy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family gives thanks and appreciation for the support and care given by Normandy Terrace and Vistas Hospice.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. in the St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Antonio with a rosary at 7 p.m.

A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in the church.
