Teresa Kreitz Gillet, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 22, 2012, in San Antonio. Teresa was born Nov. 12, 1934, in Elmendorf, the daughter of Frank John and Olga Annie Kreitz.

She attended school in the East Central school district and graduated in 1952. While in high school, she played on the varsity basketball team. During that time, she met Raymond Gillet Jr., who became the love of her life. They were married on May 20, 1954 in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Elmendorf. They resided in San Antonio and were members of the Holy Name Catholic Church. Teresa was employed for a number of years in banking.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond; her parents; her brothers, Edward, John, Frank, Henry, and Maurice Kreitz; and a sister, Rose Floyd.

Teresa is survived by her sisters, Anna Marie Menger and Dorothy Felux and husband Fabian; her sister-in-law, Emerenc Kreitz; her brother-in-law, J.D. Reynolds; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 25, followed by a rosary in the Dellcrest Funeral Home in San Antonio.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at noon in the Holy Name Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Elmendorf.

Serving as pallbearers were Cody Felux, Justin Felux, Steven Felux, Alfred Menger Jr., Kevin Pawlik, and Ray Reynolds.
