1958-2012

Adolph Blakely Tracy III of La Vernia, Texas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, in Seguin at the age of 53 years, 11 months, and 4 days. He was born Sept. 29, 1958, in San Antonio, the son of Barbara (Beatty) and Adolph Blakely Tracy II.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his brothers-in-law, Robby L. Marsch and Ray Sullivan.

Adolph is survived by his children, Montana Cavazos and husband Eli, Barbara Alexander and husband Eric, Adolph Blakely Tracy IV and wife Devin, Elgin Christopher Tracy and wife Megan, Shaunette Torres and husband Jose, and Dakota Gillespie; the mother of his children, Mary Ann; and 18 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Tracy; his brothers and sisters, Michael Tracy and wife Annice, Sandra Marsch, Karrie Sullivan, Robert Tracy and wife Jennifer, and Gregory Tracy and wife Stephanie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Walter Tracy and Pastor Roy Raposa officiating.

Interment followed in the San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin.

Memorial contributions may be made in Adolph’s name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
