The Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation invites everyone to come out and walk for a good cause Saturday, Sept. 22, at 9:15 a.m. at the Joske Pavilion in Brackenridge Park at 3700 N. St. Mary’s St. in San Antonio.

PKD is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects more than 600,000 Americans, and more than 12.5 million people worldwide.

Activities will include music, information booths, door prizes, food, and a penny dash for the kids. Free registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the walk scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m.

For those unable to attend the walk, but wishing to donate, visit www.walkforpkd.org or send a check payable to the PKD Foundation to Dorcella Sunday, team captain, at 118 Winding Oak Drive, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. All donations are tax-deductible.

For information, call Dorcella at 830-997-7937 or visit www.pkdcure.org.
