Is your high school senior ready for college? Remember that the deadlines to register for the SAT (www.collegeboard.org) and ACT (www.actstudent.org) are coming up quickly.

The recommended SAT will be administered Saturday, Nov. 3, with a registration deadline of Thursday, Oct. 4, while the recommended ACT is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27, with a registration deadline of Friday, Sept. 21.

Students do not need to receive their test scores before applying for college, but should begin applying for college through Apply Texas at www.applytexas.org.
