SAN ANTONIO -- The Floresville High School junior varsity Tiger football team suffered a tough 6-0 loss last week to the Brackenridge Eagles.

Defensively, the Tigers played a great game, and were led by Lorenzo Neaves, Dillon Gaither, Tony Grimaldo, Joshia Ramirez, Sebastian Rodriguez, C.J. Felux, Adam Baird, and Luke Smith. Unfortunately, the great effort was not enough as the Tigers’ offense struggled to score any points, due primarily to four turnovers.

The Tigers played hard throughout and showed a lot of heart up until the very end of the game, but it just wasn’t enough. The final score was Brackenridge 6, Floresville 0.

The junior varsity team is now 1-1 on the year, and will enjoy a bye this week.
