U.S. Air Force Airman Justin West, a 2012 graduate of La Vernia High School, has graduated from basic military training on Aug. 31 at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

Justin is the son of Bradley and Sherri Osborn of La Vernia, the brother of Tyler West, and the grandson of Henry and Helen Biesenbach of Sutherland Springs, Pauline Osborn of La Vernia, and John Osborn of Kyle.
