The La Vernia Intermediate School had an overwhelming response for its “Grandparents Lunch” held Sept. 10-12. With more than 300 in attendance for the week, the Intermediate Campus set a new record for attendance.

Lunch was served both in the cafeteria and in the library to accommodate the visiting grandparents, and the students were bubbling with excitement over all of the welcomed guests. The staff decorated the hallways and went out of their way to share with the families how honored the school was to have them join the students during this special week.

Thank you to all of the family members who attended and were a major part in making this the best “Grandparents Lunch” the Intermediate Campus has hosted to date.
