Compared to last week: Alfalfa hay traded steady to firm and all other classes of hay remained steady. Trade and demand light to moderate on a short workweek due to the holiday. Ground hay prices have become scarce due to high cost of Alfalfa, leaving feedyards using cheaper alternatives. Hay producers in the Southeastern and Eastern parts of the state have an ample supply of Coastal Bermuda on hand. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted. . . .
