Area shops offer specials, plan grand opening events
There’s no doubt Wilson County’s growing, and businesses just continue to bloom. Here are a few just open, or offering something new or special!
•The Purple Cow Gourmet Yogurt Shop is now open at 13330 U.S. 87 W., next to Buffalo Joe’s in La Vernia. With five flavors of yogurt and 12 toppings, you’re sure to find a combination that satisfies your sweet tooth. Hours are Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call 830-391-2083 for information.
•Dress UR Kids will hold a grand opening Saturday, Oct. 20. Located at 1816 10th St. in Bleu Casa Village on U.S. 181 in Floresville (across from Dairy Queen), this little shop offers clothes to fit newborns to teens, as well as adult and maternity wear. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information, call 830-393-6164.
•Pfeil’s Home & Garden Materials, 120 County Road 221 in Floresville, has specials on all fountains and in-store products through the end of December. If you’re planning to spruce up your yard this fall, you may find just the thing at Pfeil’s. Call them at 830-393-2350.
