Approximately 270 people attended the 38th annual RSVP Recognition Banquet on Sept. 26th. RSVP volunteers from Guadalupe, Comal, Hays, and Wilson counties were recognized at the Seguin Coliseum.

Following lunch, Master of Ceremonies Darren Dunn, KWED news director, praised the work of RSVP volunteers, who collectively donated 150,480 hours of service during the past year to more than 100 community organizations. RSVP Director Stephen Doerr, assisted by Darren Dunn, presented five special awards.

Texas Lutheran University was recognized for serving as program sponsor for RSVP. Also recognized were RSVP financial supporters, advisory council members, and recruitment contest winners. The banquet concluded with a drawing for door prizes.
