The eighth annual Chihuahua Trail Art Show & Sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the Artists Wine and Cheese Reception, and awards from 6-8 p.m. in Studio La Vida at 106 E. Chihuahua St. in La Vernia.

This year’s art show theme, “A Glance Back at Chihuahua Street,” will feature artwork from many professional local artists. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the La Vernia Historical Association.

Organizers are currently accepting cash donations for the silent auction as well as themed gift baskets, such as a coffee basket, a date night basket, or a movie basket.

All auction items must be turned in by the historical association’s next meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 2. For those who cannot attend the meeting, call Terrie Leonard at 210-275-2036 on or after Wednesday, Oct. 3.

For more information, call Elaine Mazurek Stephens at 830-947-3194.
