Taste of Chicago Deli & Grill owners Reuben and Barbara Garcia and the Western Steak House will host a benefit for Osborne Stables Saturday, Oct. 6, starting at 8 a.m.

The event will include a community yard and rummage sale, swap meet, and craft show. Spaces are available for $20 each. Proceeds from the vendor spaces will benefit Osborne Stables Equine Rescue. Profits earned by vendors are theirs to keep. Youth spaces will be available at no charge; tables and chairs for young vendors will be available under the canopy.

Auto swap meet vendors also are invited; spaces are $20.

Music will be provided by “Uncle Willy.” The concession will be open and restrooms are available.

Osborne Stables is a 501 (c)3 organization that houses and rehabilitates horses and donkeys that are abandoned or neglected.

Taste of Chicago is located at 11984 U.S. 87, just south of La Vernia, across the highway from the Western Steak House and the Twin Oaks subdivision.
