The La Vernia Independent School District and La Vernia Junior High School are proud to announce the recognition of Trudi Buckley for Outstanding Achievement in the Texas History Day Program by The Texas State Historical Association.

Buckley was selected based on her demonstration of great commitment to the Texas History Day Program by providing students the opportunity to excel in the study of history, thereby earning a much-deserved recognition as one of the top history teachers in Texas.

La Vernia Junior High School Principal Bill Mikeska, along with the staff of La Vernia Junior High, would like to extend his appreciation to Buckley for her continued efforts to such an amazing program.
