1940-2012

Charles Foster Ireton passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 72 years, 3 months, and 23 days. Charles was born on June 4, 1940, in Akron, Ohio, to Dickie Foster and Freda Ireton.

He was a resident of Pandora for 30 years. He was a member of Jesus Name Pentecostal Church.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; daughters Mary Rebecca and Cynthia; sister Darlene; and brothers Sonny and Harold.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Joyce Ireton of Pandora; children Teresa West of Nixon, Linda Jo Flores-Garcia of Pandora, Stacy Craig of Illinois, Charles Russell Ireton of Pandora, Daniel Ireton of Pandora, and Jonah Ireton of Stockdale; sisters Jessa North, Mildred Rickman, Elsie Ireton, Patty Salge, and Peggy Dalton; brother Robert Ireton; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.

A funeral service was held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ray Remmers officiating.

Interment followed in the Steele Branch Cemetery in Pandora.
