Amanda Caitlen Apolinar is honored to represent Sandra Tackitt, Peanut Festival Association past president, in the 2012 Peanut Festival. Amanda is the daughter of Armando and Sophie Apolinar of Floresville, and has two older brothers, Armando Apolinar and the late Richard “BJ” Jimenez, and one older sister, Adriana Apolinar.

Amanda, a senior at Floresville High School, is active in the Red Cross Club and Link Crew, and was part of the Mighty Tiger Band as a member of the color guard for three years. She is currently employed at the Floresville South Elementary After School Care program.

Amanda would like to thank her escort, Javier “Javi” Long. Javier is the son of Javier Long and Yvette Urena and has many brothers and sisters. He is currently employed at McDonald’s in Floresville.
