Jacopo Crosetto, an exchange student from Italy, is a special guest of the Floresville Peanut Festival. He lives in Floresville with host mom, Nancy Koch. His parents, Silvia and Piergiorgio Crosetto, and his 6-year-old sister, Eva, live in Torino, Italy.

In Italy, Jacopo competes on the Brown Belt level of karate. He also played soccer on a community league.

When Jacopo returns to Italy, he plans to attend a university and become a lawyer or judge. He looks forward to a great year in Floresville.

Jacopo’s escort will be Sonja Tweeten.

Sonja, the 17-year-old daughter of Jerry and Darlene Tweeten, has one sister Gavin. The granddaughter of Joe and Lydia Gamez and Dennis and Sonja Tweeten, Sonja is the great-granddaughter of Alfred and Tomasa Gamez and Erinero and Susan Seguin.

Sonja is a member of the National Honor Society. She has been awarded the “A” Honor Roll and is taking AP and dual credit courses.
