Brittany Michelle Andersen, the daughter of Carl and Carmen Andersen, will represent the Wilson County Historical Society in the 68th annual Floresville Peanut Festival Parade.

Brittany is a currently a senior at Floresville High School and is the secretary of Student Council, head athletic trainer, and a member of National Honor Society, Drama Club, and the Leo Club. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, writing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Brittany would like to thank Samuel Handowski for escorting her in the Peanut Festival.

Samuel Jacob Handowski, the son of Robert and Molly Handowski of Fairview, is privileged to be Brittany’s escort. Samuel has a brother, John, and a sister, Veronica. He is currently a senior at Floresville High School as a candidate for early graduation. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Samuel plays for the varsity Tiger football team. He has also volunteered his time as a Salvation Army Santa and has participated in filling care packages for area children’s homes.

Samuel would like to thank Brittany for sharing this wonderful opportunity with him and he looks forward to enjoying the Peanut Festival as her escort.
