Bianca Quintanilla is honored to represent Floresville Peanut Festival Association Director Delaine Carvajal in the annual 2012 Floresville Peanut Festival.

Bianca, the daughter of Edward and Mary Quintanilla, is the youngest child among brothers Edward Jr. and Cameron Quintanilla. Edward Jr. was also honored to represent in the 2003 Floresville Peanut Festival.

Bianca, a senior at Floresville High School, is a member of the National Honor Society. In previous years as a high school student, Bianca was also a member of the Jaguar basketball and softball teams. Bianca is now employed at the Floresville North Elementary School as an after school day-care assistant.

Upon graduation, Bianca plans to attend college to major in criminal justice and forensic science and become a crime scene investigator.

Bianca is thankful to Elijah Sanchez, the son of Roberto and Melinda Sanchez, for escorting her.

Elijah is a member of the varsity Tiger soccer team. In 2011, the Floresville varsity soccer team made it to the playoffs for the first time. Elijah is currently employed at the Floresville Bill Miller restaurant.

Bianca and Elijah would like to thank Delaine Carvajal for allowing them to represent her in this year’s festival.
