Savannah Valadez will represent Sandy Strozier, booth coordinator, in this year’s Floresville Peanut Festival.

Savannah, a four-year Mighty Tiger band member, serves as band woodwind lieutenant. She is the National Honor Society treasurer and academic executive for Link Crew. A three-year “A” Honor Roll recipient, Savannah has received an Outstanding Student award and is an active member of the El Mesias youth group.

Savannah, the daughter of Paul and Debra Valadez, is the granddaughter of Mary Helen Quintanilla. She will be escorted by Abel Ingle.

Abel, the president of the senior class, is a member of the National Honor Society and the A.C.T.S. team at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A three-year “A” Honor Roll recipient, Abel received an Outstanding Student award.

Athletically, Abel was a regional qualifier in track and field for the 200m (2010), the 4x200m relay (2011), and 4x100m relay (2010-11), advancing as state alternate in 2011. Abel is also in powerlifting and Academic UIL.

Abel is the son of Edward and Carmen Ingle.
