April Marie Alcorta is proud to represent the Floresville High School Dance Team Booster Club in the 2012 Peanut Festival. April is the daughter of Oscar and Rosemary Alcorta, and has two younger brothers, Oscar and Isaac.

April, a senior at Floresville High School, is an active member of the Floresville Tigerettes dance team and a member of the varsity Jaguar soccer team. She is also employed at H-E-B in Floresville.

April would like to thank her friend, Joseph Compian, the son of Joe and Patricia Compian of Floresville, for escorting her.

Joseph is an active member of the varsity Tiger football team, powerlifting, National Honor Society, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

April and Joseph would like to thank Cassi Wallace for allowing them to represent her, and their parents for all the support through the years.
