Sutherland Springs Queen Issamar Martinez, the daughter of Gilberto and Ernestina Martinez, will participate in the Floresville Peanut Festival, escorted by Felix Fraga.

Granddaughter of Manuel and Carolina Alvardo, Issamar is sister to Gilberto M. Martinez.

A senior at Floresville High School, Issamar is currently employed at Dairy Queen for the past eight months.

Upon graduation, Issamar plans to attend Texas State University or the University of Texas at San Antonio to pursue a degree in criminal justice and become an FBI agent in behavior analysis. Then she plans to move to New York City to start a family.

Felix Fraga, the son of Felix and Bonnie Fraga, is currently employed at the Floresville North Elementary School. A senior at Floresville High School, Felix plans to attend Blinn College in College Station for agriculture welding.
