Goober Gazette: Acolyte Jacob Arthur Trevino
Jacob Arthur Trevino is honored to represent the Floresville Peanut Festival Association as acolyte to Queen-elect Caitlyn May and the Court of America’s Majestic Beauty.
Jacob, the son of John Gabriel and Josie Trevino, is the younger brother to Jonathon Alan. Jacob is the grandson of Pauline Trevino and the late Arthur Trevino and Jose and Bertha Martinez.
A third-grade student at Floresville North Elementary, Jacob and his family are members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He enjoys participating in sports activities, and is currently a member of the Floresville Little League Fall Ball, and the Floresville Youth Basketball League-Floresville Predators team. He has been a member of the Floresville Little League for four years. He has played basketball in the Spurs Youth League for three years.
Jacob participated in the 2010 and 2011 Texas Youth Football Association with the Floresville Wildcats flag football team. Jacob enjoys playing with his big brother, Jonathon.
The Peanut Festival has been a very special family event. Jacob’s uncles and cousins have served in past Peanut Festivals. His uncles Roland and James, and his cousin, Taylor, each served as a prince. His Uncle Tim was king to Queen Carolyn Gaona. His brother, Jonathon, cousins Deric and Jordyn, and Uncle Joseph served in the Children’s Court.
Jacob and his parents wish to express their gratitude and thanks to Queen-elect Caitlyn May and her parents for the opportunity to be part of her court.
In addition, they would like to thank President Rhea Nell Rogers for all her help and thank the Floresville Peanut Festival Association for their dedication in making the festival a special event.
The Trevino family would like to share a special thank-you to Pat and Hilary Reile for the amazing design of his formal attire and are very appreciative for Mrs. Liz Campbell’s seamstress work of his formal attire. Also, Jacob would like to share his appreciation of his grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins for their support.
