Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Texans for Constitutional Government and the Wilson County News will sponsor a Candidates Forum Thursday, Oct. 18, from 7-10 p.m. in the American Legion Hall in downtown Floresville. This event is free. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.

This is open to all candidates for office in Wilson County and the city of Floresville. The sponsors will pose questions to the candidates present; the format will allow for questions for the candidates from interested citizens.

Mayor has already posted on face book. I think he has a problem with the position being a ceremonial one. That is our argument, he does not respect the City Charter. See City Charter, paragraph 3.01 (b).
