Stockdale News: Town hall meetings
Voters in the proposed Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 3 will have several opportunities to learn more about the creation of an ESD for emergency medical services only. Voters will weigh in on the proposed creation of the ESD No. 3 on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The purpose of these meetings is to give citizens within the areas of the proposed entity an opportunity to ask questions and understand the importance of the creation of this ESD.
The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the Sutherland Springs Community Building in Sutherland Springs. Another meeting is set for Thursday, Oct. 25, at 6:30 p.m., also in Sutherland Springs.
Three meetings will be held in the Stockdale Community Building located at 700 W. Main St. in Stockdale:
•Saturday, Oct. 27, at 6:30 p.m.
•Monday, Nov. 5, at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
