Found: 2 brindle cows, on Sept. 12, at the end of La Gura Rd. in South Bexar County, located between South Loop 1604 and the San Antonio River, Gillett Rd. on east and Schultz Rd. on the west. Call after 8 p.m., 210-310-9206.
Lost: Border Collie, black and light brown, 9 months old, wearing a green collar, last seen Sept. 22 near CR 427 in Poth. If found call 210-324-1208.
Found: Male MinPin?, about 2 years old, not fixed, sweet, very smart, on Sept. 25 inside Floresville Walmart, healthy, no fleas, clean teeth, manicured nails, will keep if owner not found. 830-542-0280.

WCCVA yard sale set in La Vernia

The Wilson County Community Values Association (WCCVA) will hold its Fund-raiser Yard Sale on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 8 a.m. at the Grandma’s House Child Care Center at 565 F.M. 1346 in La Vernia.

Donations will be accepted, with all proceeds to benefit the WCCVA to help offset legal expenses, etc.

According to its website,, the association works to “preserve the past quiet rural country life and move forward in the 21st century with sensible, controlled growth that best serves and protects present and future generations.”
