Compared to last week: Hay prices steady to firm. Trade and demand continues light to moderate. Some dairies and feedlots continue to purchase only day to day and not willing to accumulate large inventories. Most of the State received needed rainfall over the last couple weeks from 1 inch to as much as 9 inches in some places. These rains will benefit grass pastures and rangelands as well as wheat and other forages. Supplemental feeding continues but minimal. Many Coastal Bermuda hay producers will get another cutting or presently working on another cutting. Prices for hay and pellets quoted per ton except where noted. . . .
