Texas A&M University in College Station has cancelled classes for today, due to a bomb threat received this morning.

A "Code Maroon" was issued at 11:34 a.m., ordering everyone to immediately evacuate the campus on foot. Bus routes also have been altered. For more information, visit emergency.tamu.edu.

Yesterday, a brief evacuation was ordered at Texas State University in San Marcos after the campus received a threat targeting its admissions building and two residence halls. It is unclear whether the incidents are related, or if they have any connection to a threat called into the University of Texas campus in Austin in September.
