Registration open for youth basketball league
The Floresville youth basketball league will hold its final registration session for the upcoming season Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m. at the Floresville ISD administration office, located at 1200 Fifth St.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 5-12, as of Sept. 1, 2013. Children 13 years old may participate if they are in the sixth grade. Practice sessions will begin in December, and the season is set to start Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.
Registration is $50 each for the first two children, and $40 for each additional child in same family. Proof of Floresville residency and each child’s birth certificate is required if he or she did not play last year with Floresville.
