Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.

Kelli Dockery, Mathew Quates, Kolby Weidner, and Daniel Weidner are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their parents, Denise Kay Dockery, and Thomas James Quates. Denise is the daughter of Richard and Debra Dockery of Falls City, Texas. Thomas is the son of Kevin and Alberta Jochumsen of Austin, Minn., and Bruce Quates of Dallas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Agnes Wiatrek and the late Alvin Wiatrek, Anita Dockery and the late Richard Dockery Sr., and the late Walter Kroll.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Dwight and Barbara Quates, the late Donnie Quates, and the late Sam and Jo Ann Stoddard.

Denise is a 1998 graduate of Poth High School and is currently a stay-at-home mom.

Thomas is a 1996 graduate of Samuel Clemens High School and is currently a bartender at Lew’s Patio and Grill in Floresville.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the family homestead in Falls City, Texas, with a reception to follow in the Wilson County Show Barn.

The couple plan to reside and raise their new family in Poth, Texas.
