A longtime friend and touring companion of Ray Price, Bobby Flores, will share the stage with the country music icon Nov. 3 in the Floresville Event Center.

Flores, who performed in Floresville in July with “The Yellow Rose Band,” said those attending the concert are in for a treat.

“My band and I always give 110 percent when we perform,” Flores said. “When you perform with a legend like Ray Price, with someone of his stature, it makes you push yourself a little harder.”

Flores also promised that the event will be special for those in attendance.

“The uniqueness of Ray’s and my music, to see that caliber of music at the same place at the same time will be something incredible,” Flores said. “We are a dance group and love to keep people on the dance floor. We have a lot of fun playing together and that translates into our music.”

Flores has just wrapped up work on a gospel album and plans to debut it Jan. 13 on his third annual Western Swing Caribbean Cruise.
