BOERNE -- Making custom maps using the latest technology and growing vegetables in the winter are among topics to be covered in workshops at the nonprofit Cibolo Nature Center (CNC) during November.

The “Mapping Your World with ArcGIS” workshop is set for Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will learn to collect data points in the field, drop them into ArcGIS online, and customize the look of their maps. The workshop cost is $30, $25 for CNC members, and is limited to 10 participants.

A Winter Vegetable Gardening Workshop is set for Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. The workshop costs $20, $15 for CNC members.
