The Floresville Independent School District will be accepting nominations of kindergarten students for the Gifted and Talented Program from Monday, Nov. 5, through Friday, Nov. 16.

Nominations may be submitted by parents, educators, and community members for students at the Floresville North Elementary and South Elementary school campuses. The selection of students for the program is based upon ability test scores, achievement test scores, and a teacher rating scale. A committee comprised of administrators, counselors, and teachers will select the students to participate in the Gifted and Talented Program. Nomination information may be picked up at either of the two campuses.

For more information or to obtain the appropriate nomination forms, contact Karissa Jarzombek at the North campus at 830-393-5310, ext. 1046, or kjarzombek@fisd.us or Cynthia Torres at the South campus at 830-393-5325, ext. 1013, or ctorres@fisd.us.
