Barbecue lovers, don’t forget that the eighth annual Floresville Fall Fest Barbecue Cook-off will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9-10, in the Floresville Event Center at 600 S.H. 97 W. in Floresville.

Enjoy an IBCA-sanctioned cook-off, with jackpots and a kids’ cook-off. Categories will include IBCA beef brisket, ribs, and chicken. Jackpot entries will be chili, Dutch oven dessert, or beans, each with a separate entry fee of $15. Entry fee per team is $100.
